Shane Fitch, CEO & Founder of Lovexair was glad to share her thoughts of the partnership with Azatec Consulting.

Lovexair is a not for profit Foundation established to bring meaningful resources to both patients & healthcare professionals and researchers in the digital era. Our goal is to work together with our key stakeholders and build capabilities in better healthcare with empathy and understanding.

That means working together to adapt our understanding of how we use digital for self-care, why our health data is our IP and how we connect and have a different dialogue together.

We are working on a number of key projects for online patient care + monitoring with a trained tele-healthcare team. Amongst these:

– #MyAVA is a virtual health assistant for asthma management for adults where we are learning how to guide people with a personalized approach to self-care, according to their social & clinical profile. – #InspiringKids is a research project which is due to start at the end of 2020 with pediatricians from 4 leading hospitals in Barcelona: here we are educating & using mobile health & devices with young people & children who have difficulty in controlling their asthma . – Additionally in June, in response to the enormous needs required in attending to covid-19 pandemic for people who are vulnerable, shielding and affected by this complex systemic disease, we established a consortia “Improvid”, to work together in a multi-stakeholder partnership where we can build on our existing resources and shared know-how, across key clinical centres of excellence, leading researchers and universities in 4 countries.

Our aim is to improve the quality of care and knowledge around online-offline management for patients and their healthcare teams with a flexible integral care and a tele-rehabilitation model which we can deliver with training & curated educational content into their communities.

“Improvid” is based on a flexible approach to care support & monitoring, providing essential resources to public-private healthcare providers & networks. We will work together to develop expertise in training people on how to use digital devices or IT which enables fast scale-up and deployment, in different languages & jurisdictions.

This month we are reaching out to those partners who wish to contribute to societies’ key needs in safety, care, social wellbeing and health by supporting funding our activities especially for these vitally important consortia

Our efforts in 2021 will continue to build on our capabilities & outreach in digital & social health, as a patient-led organization and a key-player in developing & deploying innovative sustainable care models.

Our collaboration with Azatec stems from an early relation in getting to grips with AWS Health & Life Sciences cloud management. Our project development journey required us to have a European partner with experience in cloud infrastructure, to manage an economically sound growth model. This is vital to enable relationships with public healthcare systems in digital health. Their experience in Italy is similar to ours, there is also a real need for digital & social health resources, as in Spain, particularly with covid-19. Azatec is a company that has a global partnering network and is also innovative, looking to the future in IT. Their blockchain initiative will be key in the future, to creating health passports for people and to tighten our access & data- management in health, genetics and personalized medicine.

AWS and big tech have opend up enormous possibilities for small players such as Lovexair. This means we can really take our organization to another level in the future, to create a cost-effective, scalable, secure & GDPR compliant ecosystem which we can map out to hub partners.

Starting as an NGO we have had great support from AWS with credits, consultancy & guidance and this gives us a kick-start, to use well designed IT which will support us as we grow.

With AWS we would like to explore how we could partner to further our ambition in offering sustainable clinical care solutions across jurisdictions, use AI on robust datasets once we have for example a multi stakeholder partnership with leading clinical centers of excellence and how we could scale up these solutions with integrated wearables or smart devices which are soon to be much more accessible to people.
